Momo's Reviews
Came here on. Taco Tuesday from out of town (a state where Mexican food is scarce and good Mexican basically doesn't exist). Got the carne asada, al pastor, and birria tacos. Each taco was $2.50 - great meal for a great deal. Loved the carne asada, but really all of them were so delicious! Sprinkled some guacamole and salsa on top - a total winner. Plenty of meat and flavor. Service at the register was very friendly and kind.
Food was great, service staff was super nice, ambiance was busy but with great food I didn't cook I will be back to eat here was worth the wait
A bit reluctant to go in, but I am so ABSOLUTELY GLAD I did!!!! SATURDAY HAPPY HOUR!!!??? Yes, Gurl... yes!!!! A simple menu DEFINITELY DID NOT disappoint!!! Tacos, carne Asada fries and drinks! We tried the flour AND corn tortillas. The flour tasted like they just came FRESH off the comal! They was goooood :) ;) In order my favorite tacos were Biria (so juicy), carne Asada, then the Al Pastor. When I was little my dad would take us to Mexico just to eat tacos plus more and this place reminded me of those good times! The guy who took my order was so kind! He let me split the order (tortillas) and was very friendly! The person who delivered our food to the table looked like he was enjoying the day, then I saw him make a drink at the bar ... looked so good, I nearly jumped out of my seat and stole it! Of course I didn't, but he was going to town on it! Love that! And on a Saturday??? Yes, please!!!! Carne Asada fries, large enough to share and packed with yummy goodness! It's a cheese sauce they use, with a little bit of fresh cotija on top - it was just right! I think you save a little bit of money using their self serve salsa/chip bar too! I like this method because I feel like it eliminates waste! Just get a little and then a little more if needed. My favorite was the green/guacamole sauce AND the red mixed together!!! So flavorful and now my mouth is watering again just thinking about it! Overall, this place is a total WIN! The prices were good and it was beautiful inside too! I can't wait to go back and try their Sonoran Hot Dogs!
The street tacos were very good. I ordered vegetarian tacos, mahi-mahi tacos, and grilled shrimp. The Shrimp and Mahi were delicious. The vegetable taco I could not eat. It was not good at all. The issue was the menu read lettuce, tomatoes and cheese for the vegetable tacos... they added mushy chopped zucchini, corn, and beans. It was not good at all. But outside of that the other two were great. I just recommend checking your to go order before you leave. I still give them 5 stars because one issue should never override the great parts. And the customer service was wonderful. I will definitely go again and again. FYI: sorry for the empty container picture, but I started eating them before I took the picture. I literally stood at the counter and ate them before I realized I had nothing left to show you, but the empty container to reflect how good they were. :-)
The food was good. It's a great place for college age, but as seniors my wife and I was respected
